Hatha Yoga Class

Yoga and Pilates

Come join us for a traditional Hatha yoga class. Connect your body, mind, and spirit through breath awareness, gentle movement, and postures. Finally moving into meditation and inward reflection finding your true potential within.

The daytime class offers a more gentle approach to movement and postures, teaching the essentials of the breath and physical alignment. The evening classes offer practice for level I and II, always aware of the fundamentals and perhaps working to more advanced work if needed. There is something for everyone to learn in this yoga class; whether it be learning how to quiet your mind, to breathe more deeply and completely, or to attain a posture.

One-on-one sessions are available via contacting any of our instructors.

Levels I and II

Flatten your stomach and tone your arms and legs while improving the stength and movement of your back. The health of your spine will reflect your quality of life. Take care of your beautiful spine and feel your body become stronger and more flexible in a pilates class. Become aware of the way you carry yourself and learn how to bring your body into balance with floor exercises using your own body weight as resistance.

The core musculature is the focal point while working your joints through their fullest range of motion in a safe and effective manner. Overall integrating the entire body to move throughout the exercises with precision and grace.

Whether you are new to this discipline or already a pilates enthusiast, level I will teach you the fundamentals and level II will build upon those principles with more challenging movement. All classes provide both levels, with more challenging movement if strength is demonstrated.

One-on-one personal training sessions are available via contacting Michele Gangwer at 513-218-4115 or via e-mail at michele.gangwer@yahoo.com.
